The story follows self-conscious high school student Doug Martin who gets more than he bargained for when he starts a torrid affair with Lena—the young, lonely wife of a wealthy businessman renting the lake house next door. When a serious crime rocks the sleepy vacation town, Doug is told a devastating secret and suddenly finds himself a suspect.
The film has been described as a “sexy thriller reminiscent of Basic Instinct and Body Heat.”
Chris Frisina wrote the script from which Elizabeth Allen's set to direct.
Ashok Amritraj, Robert Stein, Michael A. Helfant, Bradley Gallo, and Kirk D'Amico are producing the film.
Production kicks off in the first part of 2013.
