As the world learned of the sudden death of Michael Jackson yesterday...It was announced that sister Janet Jackson would reprise her role in Tyler Perry's comedy sequel "Why Did I Get Married Too" via Variety.The actress played Patricia, a successful author and psychologist who prefers to analyze other folks and their relationship problems rather than deal with her failing marriage.
The original 2007 film followed a group of college friends who go on vacation and start questioning their relationships when one couple’s infidelity is discovered.
The passing of her brother is sure to impact Jackson's involvement in the pic. Jackson is flying to Los Angeles from London to grieve with her family according to her management.
Perry's films tend to turnaround very quickly and thus he would have to either recast or postpone. I expect a delay and that Perry would give her whatever time she needed.
