Taking On Two

Cher and Christina Aguilera will be seen together on screen in the contemporary musical "Burlesque" according to Variety.

Aguilera plays an ambitious small-town Iowa girl with a big voice who comes of age in a neo-burlesque club on Sunset Boulevard that's run by Tess (Cher), a former dancer who struggles to keep the club open and gives the young girl a chance to shine.

Steven Antin, brother of choreographer Robin Antin, who founded the burlesque troupe-turned-girl band The Pussycat Dolls will direct from a script he wrote that was eventually revised by Susannah Grant.

Shooting in that project begins in November.

Meanwhile, Cher will also join Adam Sandler , Jon Favreau, Sylvester Stallone and Judd Apatow in providing voices for the animals in the live-action comedy "The Zookeeper" says Variety.

Sandler will voice a monkey, Cher's voicing a giraffe, Favreau a bear, Stallone a lion and Apatow an elephant.

Kevin James plays the title role.
