Last week, it was announced that actor Cam Gigandet had joined The Da Vinci Code's Paul Bettany in the live-action version of Priest....Those reports said that Gigandet would be playing another vampire on screen again ala James in Twilight (pictured)...
Not so fast:
Talking to MTV, Gigandet said the vampire rumors were a bit exaggerated. “I think there was some miscommunication that I was a vampire but that’s not the case. I’m not a vampire.”
Instead, "There are vampire-esque creatures in the movie, but it’s really a battle between good and evil. Paul Bettany and I are on this journey to rescue someone that we love, and it’s just this fascinating journey movie taking place in a different reality.”
