Rapper/actor Common is a leading man...He has just been cast in the main male lead role in the Sanaa Hamri-sports-themed romantic comedy "Just Wright" reports Variety.
The script, penned by Michael Elliot, revolves around a sports trainer (Queen Latifah) who finds herself falling in love with a professional basketball player while rehabilitating him from a career-threatening injury.
Paula Patton also stars.
A mid-July production start is planned.
