Blood Donor

Phillip Noyce is going to direct the indie police thriller "Mixed Blood" says Variety.

The film will be based on Roger Smith's book, in which an American fugitive is forced to make violent and terrifying choices to protect his family while drawing the attention of murderers, kidnappers, corrupt cops and a detective.

Samuel L. Jackson is set to play the detective, the fugitive role is still being cast.

Kelly Masterson ("Before the Devil Knows You're Dead helmed by Sidney Lumet) is adapting the script.

Production will be starting early next year.
