Written by Ian Deitchman and Kristin Rusk Robinson, the story follows two unattached adults whose worlds are turned upside down when their mutual best friends die in an accident and name them as caregivers for their orphaned daughter.
The film will be directed by noted TV guy Greg Berlanti.
Sounds a bit like No Reservations doesn't it?
Heigl has been very film-centric lately she will next be seen in July 24th's rom-com "The Ugly Truth." and she is currently filming "Five Killers" for Robert Luketic.
