It's a special Leonardo DiCaprio two-fer-one
First--Variety says Leo h circling a pic about online casinos based on Costa Rica, in which he would both star and produce.
Brian Koppelman and David Levien (who also wrote 2 other gambling/casino based flicks "Rounders" and "Ocean's Thirteen" ) came up with the idea.
The trio are also working on "Beat the Reaper" together....
Meanwhile:
DiCaprio-produced live-action adaptation of the classic 1988 anime feature Akira film has been moth-balled according to Bloody Disgusting.
The project was a two-part film with Gary Whitta writing and first timer Ruairi Robinson directing.
The site says, not only has Robinson left the project but the overall project is "dead as a doornail" according to two sources.
Yokes! That's sounds pretty final doesn't it?
