Amanda Seyfried, Vanessa Redgrave (in her first role since the death of daughter Natasha Richardson in March), Gael García Bernal and Franco Nero have signed on to star in the romance flick "Letters To Juliet" says Variety.
Based on Lise and Ceil Friedman's book , the story follows a couple (Seyfried, Garcia) who take a trip to Italy and receive a note meant for William Shakespeare 's star-crossed lover Juliet Capulet.
The note was written by a woman (Redgrave) searching for a young man who romanced her during a long-ago vacation in Italy. The young woman scours Tuscany to find the older woman's long-lost love (Nero).
The script was written by Jose Rivera and Tim Sullivan from which Gary Winick will direct.
Has The Notebook kind of sweep and sap to be a box office hit
Shooting kicks off June 25th in Italy.
