Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov tells RIA Novosti (via RIC) that filming on the sequel is happening sooner than expected.



"I think in the late autumn or winter shooting will be performed," he said. "The shooting will take place in America, India and Russia."

Bekmambetov confirmed that despite her character's fate in the first film, Angelina Jolie will be returning while some new characters will also be introduced to join returning star James McAvoy.

Given Jolie's popularity I am not surprised that her character will be ressurrected in W2...
