In James Whale's original film which followed 1931's "Frankenstein.". Henry Frankenstein (Colin Clive) ts tempted and finally determined to create a mate for his Monster (Boris Karloff).
The Bride (Elsa Lanchester) rejects the Monster.
Neil Burger (The Illusionist) is going to call the shots and co-write the script with Dirk Wittenborn.
Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini were previously attached, and planned to set the story in modern-day New York.
