Pana-Vision

Having survived her run in with Jason Voorhees in the Friday The 13th remake Danielle Panabaker is going for her third horror pic after The Crazies is released.

She stars opposite Amber Heard in John Carpenter's"The Ward" says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows a girl (Heard) who is admitted to a psychiatric ward, meets other girls there with distinct personalities and discovers a mysterious girl haunting the halls at night.

Panabaker plays a patient in the institution, a snobbish girl who flirts with orderlies and faces electroshock therapy.

Mamie Gummer, whose credits include "Taking Woodstock," "Stop-Loss" and "The Hoax." also star.

Panabaker is following in the early career footsteps of Jamie Lee Curtis with all of these scary pics and whi also worked with Carpenter.

Michael and Shawn Rasmussen wrote the script, with rewrites by Jim Agnew and Sean Keller.

Shooting kicks off next month in Spokane, Washington.
