The first film in the series was busy taking home five golden popcorn statues and received a huge majority of the record breaking votes submitted this year online and via text message.
Robert Pattinson took home statues for "Breakthrough Performance Male," "Best Kiss" with co-star Kristen Stewart and "Best Fight" with Cam Gigandet. Stewart also won for "Best Female Performance" and the film took home "Best Movie".
"High School Musical 3: Senior Year"got 2 awards. Ashley Tisdale won "Breakthrough Performance Female" and Zac Efron won "Best Male Performance."
Jim Carrey adds to his collection of statues after earning "Best Comedic Performance" for his role in "Yes Man".
