Based on the Alex Flinn young-adult novel, the Manhattan-set contemporary take on "Beauty and the Beast" tells the story of a handsome rich kid with a mean streak.
When he ditches a date, a curse is placed upon him, turning him into everything he hates. The grotesque transformation leaves him with the seemingly impossible task of finding true love to break the ugly spell.
With roles in Sucker Punch! and this summer's Bandslam--it's nice to know that Zac Efron's not the only High School Musical alum building a career outside of the tween franchise....
As for Pettyfer he can be seen in Tormented. and has obtained quite a following and hunk status--putting butts in the seats for sure.
Filming kicks off this Summer.
