Time Traveler

Director Kevin Macdonald (State of Play) will develop and direct an adaptation of author Isaac Asimov's 1955 novel " The End of Eternity" says Variety.

The futuristic story concerns a ruling class called Eternity whose members can manipulate time and alter history.

But before that happens...He must go back in time...

Macdonald is also working. on bringing author Rosemary Sutcliff's second-century Roman military drama "The Eagle of the Ninth" to the screen.

The tale revolves around a wounded Roman soldier and his loyal Celtic slave (Jamie Bell) who try to solve the mystery of the Ninth Legion, a brigade of Roman soldiers that vanished after heading into the untamed Highlands of Scotland 15 years earlier.

The book adaptation was written by Jeremy Brock (Mrs Brown, Charlotte Gray),

Channing Tatum is in talks to play the soldier,

Shooting kicks off on that project in Hungary and Scotland this August.
