Safe Travels

The lovely Amanda Peet has joined the cast of the adventure/comedy pic "Gulliver's Travels" according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film takes Jonathan Swift's classic story and updates it to follow travel writer Lemuel Gulliver (Jack Black), who heads to an assignment in the Bermuda Triangle only to end up on the secret island of Lilliput, home to a population of industrious tiny people.

Peet will play Black's editor and potential romantic interest.

Jason Segel and Emily Blunt are set to co-star.

Black and Peet shared the screen in 2001's Saving Silverman comedy with mixed results--This should turn out better than that one did...

Rob Letterman is helming the pic, which was written by Nicholas Stoller and Joe Stillman that began filming last month.
