In Praise Of Pooh Writer

Most folks were a surprised when news arrived that Evan Spiliotopoulos was hired to write the Wanted 2 sequel...

The creator of the comics and film producer Mark Millar says that the co-writer of Pooh's Heffalump Movie did a great job fleshing out the story by Chris Morgan.

From Millar's official site:

"It's just speculation and 99% of the time these guys don't have access to the people who know," he states blasting all of the negative comments over the newly-appointed writer.

"Wanted 2 is being made in a very tight circle at the moment. As a producer on the thing, I'm excited. I know who's in it and after doing 342 million at the box office we have series money to spend on everything from cast to crew to script"

Original "Wanted" director Timur Bekmambetov and star James McAvoy are expected to return for the upcoming film.

Defending the scribe is fine--but given his film credits the powers that be had to expect criticism--On the surface it was a very odd hire...
