Cam Gigandet will join Leighton Meester in the psychological thriller "The Roommate" says Variety.The story sees a college freshman become obsessed with her new roommate.
Gigandet will play the boyfriend of Meester's character.
Christian E. Christiansen directs the Sonny Mallhi written script
With bad boy roles in Twilight and Never Back Down last year--Gigandet will play a good guy here..At least he and Meester will look good together in this version of Single White Female The College Years.
Filming kicks off in May.
