Benicio Del Toro is being tipped to play "American Psycho" Less Than Zero and "The Rules of Attraction" author Bret Easton Ellis in an adaptation of his novel "Lunar Park"."Lunar Park is in some state of pre-production. This is a very funny town. Oddly enough, Benicio Del Toro I think is going to do it" Easton Ellis told MTV News.
Park' is a semi-autobiographical book examining the early fame Ellis received when his literary career took off in the Eighties, then blurs it with such fictional details as terrorist attacks, ghost haunting, and a marriage to an actress.
"I think he’s interested just because he’s rarely offered Anglo parts. I think that’s one of the reasons it was very exciting [to him]" says Ellis.
del Toro has the chops and the quirky side to handle the far out material of the project.
