Documentarian Errol Morris will direct his first narrative feature an untitled cryogenic-themed dark comedy says Variety.
Inspired by Robert F. Nelson memoir "We froze the first man ", the true story follows Nelson, a TV repairman who in the 1960s joined a group of enthusiasts who believed they could cheat death by using a new technology called Cryonics.
But freezing dead people so scientists could reanimate them in the future turned out to be harder than Nelson ever imginginedt.
The adaptation will be written by Zach Helm (Stranger Than Fiction).
Dark indeed--Could be fun though....
