Gerald McRaney has been cast in Red Tails says The Hollywood Reporter.McRaney will play General Luntz, the officer who assigns the Red Tails as bomber escorts during missions over Nazi held territory.
Terrence Howard Cuba Gooding Jr. and Bryan Cranston co-star.
Anthony Hemingway helms the film off of John Ridley's script from a premise by George Lucas .
Filming kicks off shortly in Europe.
